For the first time, adidas Football is bringing together European powerhouses Manchester United, Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich , Chelsea FCJuventus and AC Milan for a tournament like no other as players representing the clubs touched down in Marseille earlier today.

 

Ashley Young (Manchester United), Alvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid), Javi Martinez, (FC Bayern Munich), Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Guido Vadala (Juventus) and Riccardo Montolivo (AC Milan) are in Marseille for the #BETHEDIFFERENCE World Final, the culmination of a tournament searching for the world’s best “playmakers” and “gamechangers” that started at The Base, Berlin, during the UEFA Champions League Final.

Since then, #BETHEDIFFERENCE  tournaments have sprung up in over 30 cities around the world including, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, LA, Hong Kong and many more, as the football revolution spread the globe.

Adidas is set to officially reveal the third kits for six of the leading dynasties in European football: Manchester United, Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, Juventus and AC Milan at the #BETHEDIFFERENCE World Final in Marseille.

The six European giants will each bring two of their top players to reveal their new ‘spark in the night’ third kits. All the kits incorporate unique references to the heritage, fans and cities of these great clubs, who between them have won an incredible 28 UEFA Champions League trophies.

adidas is set to officially unveil tomorrow the Finale 15, Official Match Ball of the UEFA Champions League 2015/16, during the brand’s #BETHEDIFFERENCE World Finals in Marseille.

The ball, which will be used throughout the Group Stages of this season’s UEFA Champions League – the world´s most prestigious club competition – and which has already been in play at the preliminary qualifying playoff rounds, is poised to be one of the highlights at adidas’ unique celebration of football in Marseille, which will see European powerhouses Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC and Juventus being brought together for the first time for a tournament like no other.

 

 

The adidas Finale 15 continues to boast the traditional and world famous star panel design but with a twist – it features a reinterpretation of the elements contained on the city crest of Milan – the location for this year’s UEFA Champions League Final. The stars of the predominantly white ball come in striking tones of blue which carry a distinctive snake skin element. In addition these also feature design references to the colours of the EXPO – a Universal Exposition to be held in Milan this year.

In June, adidas Football started a search for the world’s best “playmakers” and “gamechangers” at The Base, Berlin, during the UEFA Champions League Final. Since then, #BETHEDIFFERENCE  tournaments have sprung up in over 30 cities around the planet – New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, LA, Hong Kong and many more, as the football revolution spread the globe.

 

This week, the search for players who can truly #BETHEDIFFERENCE will come to an epic close, with winners from the local events competing in one final 2v2 tournament in Marseille on 27th August, attended by some of the world’s best footballers, including Oscar, Cesar Azpilicueta, Riccardo Montolivo, Phillipe Mexes, Javi Martinez and many more. The event in the south of France will be hosted by freestyle footballer Sean Garnier and UK-based presenter Maya Jama.

Next Thursday, 27th August, the world’s biggest football clubs will descend on Marseille, France, as the city becomes the venue for an epic football event. For the first time, six leading dynasties of European football: Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC and Juventus will come together for a tournament like no other.

 

The clubs, who between them have won 28 UEFA Champions League trophies, will each bring two of their top players to judge in the World Final of adidas’ global #BETHEDIFFERENCE 2 v 2 event.  Kicking off at adidas Football’s urban football venue, The Base Berlin, in June, Mesut Ozil, Ander Herrera and Zinedine Zidane began the search for the best “playmakers” and “gamechangers.” Since then local #BETHEDIFFERENCE  tournaments have sprung up in over 30 cities around the globe – New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, LA, Hong Kong and many more – taking the X & ACE football revolution to kids everywhere.

 

With the Marseille event taking place on the same day as this year’s UEFA Champions League 2015/16 group stage draw, the event will officially showcase the adidas third kits for each of the six clubs, and unveil the new adidas Finale 2015 UEFA Champions League Official Match Ball, to be used in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2015/16. More details surrounding the event will be released next week as the excitement draws closer.

adidas and Chelsea FC unveil new home shirt 15/16

“If it’s not blue it will be”

 

adidas have today unveiled in partnership with the reigning Premier League Champions and long-term partners, Chelsea Football Club the new look home kit for the 2015/16 season.

The home shirt is today launched as part of the new campaign – “If it’s not blue, it will be”, a campaign which focuses on the players’ determination to dominate domestic and European football.. The shirt will be worn on the club’s pre-season tour to the US, with games against the New York Red Bulls from the MLS, UEFA Champions League winners, FC Barcelona and French Ligue One Champions, Paris St Germain, with a formal reveal at a grass roots football event in Harlem on 21st July.

The “If it’s not blue, it will be” concept is part of the adidas #BeTheDifference campaign with which adidas announced the Football Revolution by introducing a new way of seeing football: football matches are decided on the finest of margins. A single piece of skill or a moment of madness can lead either to victory or to defeat. It’s all up to those who are able to make a difference on the pitch, those who create chaos and those who control the game – the game changers and the playmakers.
